Das Erwachen war irgendwie sehr mystisch... Ich weiss, dass die Bilder von keiner guten Qualität sind, aber die Stimmung wird trotzdem gut vermittelt.
Waking up was somehow very mystic... I know that the quality of the pictures are not very good, but they could say something of the atmosphere. Mit Hilfe des GPS-Signales am iPhone konnten wir mal feststellen, wo wir waren...
With the help of the GPS on my iPhone we could find out where we were...05.13 hrs... it would take 2:12 hours by car from here... by train we still need to go for another six hours!!!
05.13 Uhr... und hätte mit dem Auto von hier noch 2:12 Stunden gedauert... Mit der Bahn brauchen wir allerdings noch rund sechs Stunden!!!Die Internet-Verbindungen im Bell-Netz sind so gut, dass ich sogar Bilder auf Facebook hochladen kann.
The internet-connection within the Bell-network were so good that I could get my pictures uploaded on Facebook. Aha 1 1/2 Stunde später... wir bräuchten von hier immer noch 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto... Für die restlichen 123 km bis nach Vancouver benötigen wir später noch 4 1/2 Stunden...
Well 1 1/2 hours later... from here we would still need 1 1/2 hours by car... for the last 76 miles to Vancouver we still need 4 1/2 hours...
Das erinnert mich an eine Jugendserie, die immer im ZDF spielt... aber den Namen habe ich wohl vergessen... (zu Hause habe ich es dann gefunden: "Strandpiraten").
That reminded me to a TV-show in the German television I saw a little boy... but I forgot the name... (later at home I found out that it was "The Beachcombers").

What might that be: looked like an old ferry to me. At the bow you see a giant "BC" which might stand for BC Ferries.
Was mag das sein: sieht für mich aus wie eine Fähre. Am Heck sieht man noch ein großes "BC", das vielleicht für BC Ferries steht.Und ein Wasserflugzeug...

Um 10.00 Uhr... wir sind 51 km vor Vancouver und benötigen hierfür noch 1:15 Stunde...
10.00 hrs... we were 32 miles ahead of Vancouver and we still need another 1:15 hours...
