Tag/Day 3.4 auf der/on ROYAL PRINCESS in Southampton, England

Zurück ging es in der Economy Class (Euro Traveller). Pro Person 200,00 EUR für ein Upgrade fand ich zuviel.



We took back Economy Class (Euro Traveller). 200.00 EUR p.p. for un upgrade was too much.

You still had some beverages and a small snack, and you can choose yourself: Chips, nuts or cookies. And you get some Worcester sauce for your tomato juice.



Es gibt noch etwas zu trinken und etwas zu Knabbern und man darf sich selbst aussuchen: Chips, Nüsse oder Kekse. Und beim Tomatensaft gibt es Worcestersauce.

Auch bei British Airways hat sich rumgesprochen, dass dieses Getränk heiß ist. Was machen sie eigentlich, wenn man mal ein Kaltgetränk in diesen Becher füllt. Muss es durchgestrichen werden?

Soon we arrived in Frankfurt.



Bald landen wir auch schon und fliegen auf Frankfurt zu.

Unsere Koffer werden unsanft aus dem Flugzeug auf den Wagen geworfen.

Schon in der Gepäckhalle rufe ich bei Platzhirsch an und auch in dem Augenblick, als wir an der Haltestellen ist der Bus da. Ich bin sehr froh, dass wir so früh angekommen sind, da ich ja noch nach Hannover muss, um meinen Wagen dort zu holen. Denn wegen des Hochwassers wird derzeit ja Braunschweig nicht von Frankfurt aus bedient.



While we were still in the baggage hall I called with Platzhirsch Parking and just at that moment we arrived at the bus stop our shuttle came too. I was happy that we arrived so soon as I need to return to Hanover to collect my car. Due to the flood disaster, we had no trains were going for Brunswick out of Frankfurt.

In the shuttle one guest remarked that he had no car keys with him and so he was taken to Terminal 1. While I was sitting in the ICE high-speed-train, I found out that I put my keys into the backpack for the security screening in London and I handed the bag over to Bruno to have it home as I would not need it in my office. Due to the delay, I could return immediately back to a train station close to our home, and from here I could head on directly back to Hanover.



Im Bus merkt ein Gast, dass er kein Autoschlüssel mitführt und lässt sich am Terminal 1 wieder raussetzen.... Und als ich im ICE nach Fulda sitze, merke ich auch, dass ich den Schlüssel für die Sicherheitskontrolle in London in den Rucksack gesteckt hatte und den Rucksack gesteckt hatte und diesen Bruno mitgegeben hatte, weil ich ihn ja im Büro nicht brauche. So habe ich Glück, dass wegen der Verspätungen direkt von Fulda nach Bensheim fahren konnte. Dort ging es direkt zurück nach Hannover.

Weil ich aber erst gegen 02.00 Uhr nachts in Hannover ankomme, verzichte ich auf eine Weiterfahrt nach Braunschweig und übernachte im Courtyard Hotel am Maschsee



Because I arrived at 02.00 hrs in Hanover I did not want to drive home to Brunswick and stayed at Courtyard Hotel at Lake Maschsee.







Ich hatte ja nichts mit. So bekomme ich ein Set von Nivea mit allem Notwendigen.



I had nothing with me. So I got a set from Nivea with everything I need.

Meanwhile, I got our confirmation that they booked our Cruise Credit. We should call them right on time to extend the validity.



Zwischenzeitlich kommt unsere Bestätigung, dass unser Cruise Credit verbucht wurde. Wir sollen uns rechtzeitig melden, damit er ggfls. verlängert werden kann.

Wir müssen mal rechnen, wann wir die nächste Stufe erreichen. Auf jeden Fall ein erstrebenswertes Ziel.



We need to calculate when we could reach the next tier. It is definitely something you should aim.

And of course, we were asked again how we liked the voyage: The ship has the quality to be one of the best cruise ships. It was only sad that a little passion was missing for a few small details. Otherwise, it had the potential to be one of my most favorite ships. But that two days with Princess were compelling. Their offer, their service and a really great ship which was worth to return and it was really worth to give up our plans on AMADEA and COLUMBUS 2 for the favor of ROYAL PRINCESS.



Und natürlich werden wir gefragt, wie wir die Reise fanden: Das Schiff hat die Qualität einer der besten Kreuzfahrtschiffe zu sein. Schade, dass nur in manchen Punkten eine Liebe zum Detail gefehlt hat. Dann wäre es glatt zu einem Lieblingsschiff aufgestiegen. Aber in den zwei Tagen hat Princess auf jeden Fall überzeugt. Vom Angebot, vom Service und das es wirklich ein tolles Schiff ist, auf dem es sich lohnt wiederzukommen und es hat auf jeden Fall gelohnt hierfür unsere Pläne auf der AMADEA und COLUMBUS 2 zu Gunsten der ROYAL PRINCESS aufzugeben.
