Seetag/Day at Sea 2.8 auf der/on ROYAL PRINCESS (statt/instead of St. Peter-Port, Guernsey)

Ich will unbedingt einen Croque Monsieur essen und bestelle ihn ohne Pommes Frites. Aber sie kommen doch mit. Nur die schmecken überhaupt nicht. Leider genauso wenig das Croque Monsieur, das sogar bei easy.Jet besser schmeckt.



For sure I wanted to have a Croque Monsieur and ordered it without French Fries. But it came with. But they were not yummy. Unfortunately the Croque Monsieur either - even the one you get with easy.Jet tasted better.

Just for fun, we went to The International Café to see what they offered.



Spaßeshalber gehe ich mal gucken, was The International Café zu bieten hat.



And above in the Horizon Bistro (Horizon Court was closed in the evening).



Und oben im Horizon Bistro (Der Horizon Court hat abends geschlossen).



Wir genießen noch ein wenig die Sonne.



We enjoyed a little the sun.





In the atrium Louis Hoover was singing. So great that we sat there and stayed. Would I have closed my eyes I would assume that I was attending a Frank-Sinatra-gig? But no wonder: he was acting as Frank Sinatra in The Rat Pack.



Im Atrium sing Louis Hoover. So toll, dass wir dort sitzen bleiben. Würde ich die Augen zumachen, würde ich annehmen, dass ich live in einem Frank Sinatra Konzert sitzen würde. Aber kein Wunder: er spielte Frank Sinatra in The Rat Pack.







I had a lot of fun and sang loud with them. Other had more fun and started to dance.



Ich habe sehr viel Spaß und singe laut mit. Andere haben noch mehr Spaß und tanzen.



We treated us ourselves with some cocktails.



Wir gönnen uns Cocktails.



We met at the Crowne Grill for dinner. There I found already mine: Rib-Eye-Steak.



Wir treffen uns zum Abendessen im Crown Grill. Dort finde ich bereits meins: Rib-Eye-Steak.

Ich hatte mir ein Stück mit einem Fettauge in der Mitte gewünscht und ich bekam es!!!



I asked for a piece with an eye of fat in the center of the steak, and I got it.

We enjoyed the excellent service again: we had the choice of the Himalaya-Salt, the Lava-Salt from Hawai'i and the Salt with the applewood flavor.



Wir genießen wieder einen exzellenten Service: zur Auswahl steht wieder das Himalaya-Salz, das Lava-Salz aus Hawai'i und das Salz mit dem Apfelholzaroma.



The sides were placed in the center so we could share.



Die Beilagen werden alle in die Mitte gestellt, damit wir teilen können.

Das war ein Stück vom Himmel. Wenn jetzt wie auf der ISLAND PRINCESS die WESTERDAM wieder vorbeigekommen wäre und neben mir ungegangen wäre: ich wäre nicht zum Fotografieren aufgestanden, sondern hätte dieses Stück Paradies weitergegessen... Wäre Carolyn nicht dabei gewesen: ich hätte einen Löffel und Weißbrot für den Fleischsaft verlangt...



That was a piece of heaven. Would now WESTERDAM by-passed like on ISLAND PRINCESS and might sink: I would not leave for taking pictures and stayed to enjoy this pieces of paradise... Would Carolyn not sit with us: I would have asked for a spoon and white bread to absorb the meat juice.



Einmal im Leben... einmal im Leben die Brötchenkrümeln entfernen...



Once in my life... once in my life I wanted to clear the bread crumbs...

Unfortunately, I was under supervision, so I was unable to take that part home as souvenir...



Leider stehe ich zu sehr unter Beobachtung, das es mir nicht gelingt, das Teil als Souvenir einzustecken...

Mein persönlicher Held: Dionalito - für die Auswahl des Fleisches werden ich dem Philippinischen Präsidenten anschreiben und ihn für eine Heldenehrung vorschlagen... Er hat mich ja gefragt, wie ich das Essen fand: ich sagte, dass ich ihm das hier nicht sagen dürfte, sondern nur im The Retreat... da dieser Bereich nur für Erwachsene ist: Besser als S...



My personal hero: Dionalita - for the selection of the meat I would write the Philippine President to ask him to honor him as a hero... He asked me how I liked the food: I said that was not allowed to say here but only in The Retreat... as adult-only area: Better than S...

ich hätte glatt auf meinen Nachtisch verzichtet und noch ein Steak gegessen...



I would say no to the dessert and asked for another steak...

So the only thing I could do was going quickly to bed and to keep the flavor of the steak with me and to dream of this steak...



So bleibt mir nur mit dem Geschmack des Steaks mich schnell schlafen zu legen und weiter von diesem Steak zu träumen...

Später am Abend will mal nach meinem Douglas Ward nachfragen und treffe Cruise Director Ron und sage ihm, wie toll er es macht.



Later at the night I was back to ask for my Douglas Ward and met Cruise Director Ron and told him how great he did his job.

So while I was walking, I was wondering to find the QR-codes which you can call with your cell phone to read more on the artwork.



So beim Laufen fallen mir die QR-Codes auf, die man sich aufrufen kann, um die einzelnen Kunstwerke sich erklären zu lassen.
