Wir freuen uns über Mitreisende, die an andere Mitreisende denken. Statt die Couponbücher im Altpapier zu entsorgen, was vermutlich 99,9% aller Passagiere machen, wurden die Coupons zur Weitergabe angeboten. Mica72 (Michaela) aus dem kreuzfahrten-treff.de-Forum war so nett gewesen, uns ihre Coupons anzubieten, die wir gerne nutzen möchten, um beispielsweise mehr Kaffee zu bekommen oder mehr Internetzeit.
We like cruise-mates who remind their fellow-cruisers. Instead of disposing the used coupon booklets like 99.9% of the passengers are doing they offered the coupons for others to use them. We booked about 1 1/2 years ago really for a great price Cat. E with a porthole. It was a group offer with an OBC. Meanwhile, the port rotation was changed so that we will call La Goulette instead of Portofino and therefore we got another 200 USD. When the prices dropped, we asked Princess for an Upsale-Offer, but we got only the offer to change for the price on the day of the original booking. Dorothy asked for our patience. Last night the message came: Cat. BC. Now we are looking forward to Dorothy to come to Germany and give her a great treatment. I know that there are "smarter" offers on the internet. But I do not care for the rates at a time of booking but for those what I get at the end. And with someone like Dorothy you have more occasions and not at the time of booking.
Desweiteren freuen wir uns als Friends of Dorothy (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes), dass Dorothy immer an uns denkt. Wir hatten wirklich zu einem Spotpreis vor 1 1/2 Jahren Kat. E mit einem Bullauge gebucht. Es war ein Gruppenkontigent mit einem Onboard-Credit-Angebot. Zwischenzeitlich wurde die Hafenrotation geändert, so dass wir statt Portofino La Goulette anlaufen und dafür gibt es nochmals 200 USD Bordguthaben. Also dann die Preise sanken, und wir um ein Upsell-Angebot gebeten haben, hieß es: nur zu dem Preis, zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung. Dorothy meinte: Geduld... und gestern Nacht kam dann die Nachricht: Kategorie BC... Nun freuen wir uns auf Dorothy, wenn sie nach Deutschland kommt, damit wir ihr etwas gutes tun können. Ich weiss, dass es "smartere" Angebote im Internet gibt. Aber eigentlich zählt nicht das Angebot zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung, sondern das, was man am Schluss bekommt. Und mit jemandem wie Dorothy ergeben sich interessante Gelegenheiten.Und zuletzt freuen wir uns auf die Wetteraussichten, die für Anfang Oktober nicht übel sind. Auf jeden Fall ist es ja schon mal nicht kalt. Vielleicht sogar noch warm genug, um auf dem Balkon das Abendessene einzunehmen, jetzt wo wir einen haben. Rom haben wir noch nie ohne Regen erlebt. Warum sollte es uns dieses Mal besser gehen?
Last not least we are looking forward to the weather forecast which is not so bad for an early October. Anyhow it is not cold so far. Maybe warm enough to try Balcony Dining since we have now a balcony. We never experienced Rome without rain. So why should it be better this time?Die anderen Reisen in diesem Blog/
